Christmas is now within touching distance. The trees are up, the lights are sparkling, the mulled wine is warming on the hob and the shops are mobbed. Yes, the yuletide buzz is reaching its climax. After the year we’ve had, we certainly deserve a bit of a celebration. And it will be even more pleasurable this time around as we can finally all be together.
Amidst all the celebrations, don’t forget, though, at this time of year, there are always substantial numbers of people looking to make a move early in the New Year. You’ll be surprised how many people spend their time over the Christmas break looking for a new house or flat. There were 51 million visits to Rightmove over Christmas 2020. It’s not too late to get your property onto the market, but if you want to take advantage of all that activity you need to give us a call as soon as you can so we can get things moving.
Okay, well that’s nearly it for 2021, but next month I will be peering into my crystal ball and telling you how I’m expecting 2022 to pan out for the housing market. No doubt, COVID will still throw in the odd curveball or two, but let’s leave all that for now and focus all our efforts on having a great Christmas.
